Dear Neighbor,

I’m running for the Sausalito–Marin City School District Board of Education because I believe our schools deserve leadership rooted in experience, community, collaboration, and a deep commitment to our children’s future. I am a full time working parent, raising two children in our local school and understanding firsthand what families need to thrive. I am also a social worker by profession, bringing experience supporting children, families, and communities, with a commitment to listening, problem-solving, and building solutions.

I have been a Marin City Resident for 20+ Years. Marin City is not simply where I live; it is my home and the community I care deeply about. For over 30 years I have been an activist in Marin County for equity, opportunity, and a stronger voice for communities that are too often overlooked. I am a founding member of the Marin Organizing Committee, helping organize residents and build community power around issues that affect working families and our neighborhoods. In addition I have been a leader in the running community and advocate for children to have access to running and a healthy lifestyle.

I promise to be a community member who listens. I believe the best decisions come from bringing parents, students, educators, staff, and community members to the table.

Join me in advocating for what is best for students in 94965, and vote Vazquez on November 3rd for SMCSD School Board!

Warmest,

Eduardo Vazquez
